Seventh Goddess Kaalratri :
On the seventh day of these spiritual days, devotees worship Maa Kalratri. Maa Kalratri is the destroyer of evil. According to the beliefs of Hindu scriptures, the person who worships Maa Kalratri with devotion is freed from the fear of premature death. All calamities and troubles within the family are eliminated. This form of Maa Durga is known by many other names, including Mahakali, Bhadrani, Bhairavi, Rudrani, Chandi, Chamunda, etc. Jai mata di is the famous chant among the Maa Kalratri Devotees. Maa Kalratri grants auspicious results to the wishes of her devotees, which is why she is also known as Shubhankari.
In ancient times, Maa Kaalratri saved all the Devas and the Universe from the destruction caused by Shumbh-Nishumbh and Raktbeej. According to the mythological tale and Mahant Shri Paras Bhai Ji, when the entire universe was terrorized by the evil demons Raktbeej and Shumbh-Nishumbh, but all the Devas were helpless and powerless in front of the boon given to these evils, then Maa Kaalratri killed the evils. In such a situation, the Devas took their problem to Mahadev. Mahadev, taking cognizance of this problem, asked Maa Parvati to kill both evils. After receiving the command from Bhagwan Mahadev, Maa Parvati assumed the form of Kaalratri and defeated Shumbh and Nishumbh. When Maa Kalratri took this form to kill Raktbeej, according to the boon granted by the Devas, every time a drop of Raktbeej's blood fell on the earth, more Raktbeej demons were born. Maa separated Raktbeej's torso from his head with just one blow, but after some time more demons started being born from Raktbeej's blood.
Seeing this, Maa Kaalratri's anger increased even more. The whole world trembled with the fierce form of Maa Kaalratri. Maa Kali's fierce form was becoming even more aggressive. Maa Kali's completely black body is black like darkness, Maa has four arms, in which she is holding a dagger and a thorn in both the left arms. At the same time, Var and Abhaya mudra are made in the right arm. Maa is adorned with a garland of lightning around her neck. Fire comes out with every breath of Maa. Maa's form is extremely terrifying and huge, Maa's thick black hair is enough to scare all the evil ones with fear.
In her terrifying and furious form, the Maa vowed to kill Raktabeej. With every strike, she consumed his blood before it could touch the ground, ensuring that Raktabeej was ultimately defeated, thereby saving all the Brahmand from a terrible deluge. The devotees of Maa Kalratri get solutions to all kinds of problems with the help of worshiping the Maa. Maa Kalratri is known for resolving issues related to ghosts, vampires, and other supernatural entities.
