Biography of Lord Mahavir</>The 24th and last Tirthankara of Jainism, Lord Mahavir was born in 599 BC in the house of King Siddhartha, the king of Kundalpur in Vaishali state, and Queen Trishala. He was patient, kind and thoughtful since childhood. Despite being brought up in a royal family, he abandoned the attachment to the world at the young age of 30 and adopted the path of self-introspection.
After doing hard penance for 12 years, he attained Kevalgyan, due to which he was called “Mahavir”. Through his knowledge, he showed the path of religion and humanity to the society.
Mahavir Swami's philosophy
Paaras Parivar The three jewels of Mahavir Swami - Samyak Darshan, Samyak Gyan and Samyak Charitra, are known to be the basic foundation of human life. According to Mahavir Ji, for public welfare and social upliftment, principles like non-violence, truth, non-stealing, celibacy and non-possession are essential.

"Ahimsa Paramo Dharmah"
is still noteworthy, which means
non-violence is the supreme religion.
Mahavir Swami's message in today's context
For today's intolerant, violent and greedy society, Mahavir Swami's teachings guide like a lamp in the darkness. His knowledge is not only for his followers but for every person in the society who wants peace, restraint and dedication.
True religion is that in which the welfare of all is talked about, where there is kindness and compassion in thinking and the conduct is pure.
